The Pixi 7 is petite, measuring just 7.5 by 4.3 by 0.4 inches (HWD) and weighing about 10 ounces. That's only slightly larger than a big phablet, like the Blu Pure XL (6.5 by 3.2 by 0.4 inches (HWD) and 7.3 ounces). Of course, most people don't carry around phones that big, and the Pixi 7 is a very good size if you're looking for a second screen to carry around in your bag. The Amazon Fire is a bit larger, at 7.5 by 4.5 by 0.4 inches (HWD) and 11 ounces.
The back panel of the tablet is a black matte, dimpled plastic. Power and volume buttons are on the right edge, and the top is home to a headphone jack and a micro USB port. On the left is a flap where you can insert a microSD and a SIM card. Removing the flap is easy—it just pops right off—but putting it back into place is a bit of a chore.
